小沫在川大读中文系，是我人生中第一个女友。她知道我训练比赛之外，常常感到无聊，总给我带书来。一开始都是世界名著，大概她觉得我们这些踢球的最多看看这些东西。

其实足球是个很费脑子的即时战略游戏：下一秒你是传是射还是原地观察，这个球是分边是直塞还是转移，有无数种选择。

我经常在场上看那些比我身体好出几条街的球员踢得那样费劲，就知道自己确实有几下子。

小沫也发现了。她带来的书越来越艰深，但我看得很快。在她的推荐下，我开始读一些古文经典和英文小说。有次我们在沙发上抱在一起时，我问她觉得《门萨的娼妓》究竟谁翻译得比较好，里面有个梗为什么所有人都没发现。她突然带着我不太熟悉的微笑看着我说，「没想到你这么厉害，我有时候不知自己应该高兴还是害怕。」

她更没有想到的是，这么快就成了我的第一个前女友。

我们挣扎过，但没办法。《悲惨世界》里说真爱的征兆，在男人身上是胆怯，在女人身上是大胆。偏偏我大胆地选择了西甲，而她胆怯地选择了继续学业，结局就此注定。
